These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the pathsNetwork mobile application, website, and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by Sultopia Design Ltd (“pathsNetwork”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

2. Eligibility

You may only use pathsNetwork if:

  • you are legally allowed to use the Service under applicable law;

  • you meet the minimum age required by our platform rules and applicable law;

  • you provide truthful and accurate registration information;

  • you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law or prior enforcement action by us.

  • We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you are not eligible to use the Service.

3. Invite-Only Access

pathsNetwork is an invite-only platform. Access may require a valid invite code or another approved access method.

You must not:

  • use a code that was not intended for you in a dishonest or abusive way;

  • sell, trade, scrape, or mass-distribute invite codes without permission;

  • attempt to bypass invite, onboarding, or access controls.

  • We may revoke invite-based access or disable invite functionality where misuse is suspected.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and for all activity carried out through it.

You agree to:

  • keep your login credentials secure;

  • provide accurate and current information;

  • maintain the confidentiality of your password and authentication details;

  • notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

  • You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or create an account for deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

5. Profiles and User Information

pathsNetwork allows users to create profiles and share selected information with others through the Service.

Some information may be visible broadly within the app, some may be visible only after users connect, and some may remain private by default. You are responsible for the information you choose to add to your profile or otherwise share through the Service.

You must not:

  • upload false or misleading profile information;

  • use another person’s photo or identity without permission;

  • post private or confidential information about another person without lawful basis or permission.

6. Connection-Based Features

Some features of the Service are only available once users connect with each other.

This may include, for example:

  • direct messaging;

  • access to certain profile details;

  • access to profile photos or other connection-only content.

You must not attempt to bypass connection-based access controls or use technical or social manipulation to obtain access to content that is restricted by design.

7. Messaging and Communications

If messaging is available between you and another user, you are solely responsible for what you send.

You must not use messages or any other communication tools on the Service to:

  • harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others;

  • send spam, scams, fraudulent requests, or unwanted promotional content;

  • share obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or unlawful material;

  • groom, exploit, or manipulate other users;

  • collect sensitive personal information from others for improper purposes;

  • send malware, malicious links, or deceptive content.

We may monitor, review, restrict, remove, or report communications where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, investigate misuse, comply with law, or protect users and the Service.

8. User Content

The Service may allow you to create, upload, post, submit, store, or share content, including profile information, posts, comments, replies, messages, images, trade listings, business content, masjid content, marriage profile information, and other materials (“User Content”).

You remain the owner of your User Content, but by submitting it to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, moderate, and otherwise use that content as necessary to operate, improve, secure, promote, and provide the Service.

This licence ends within a commercially reasonable period after your content is deleted from the Service, except where:

the content has already been shared with others;

  • retention is reasonably necessary for backups, legal compliance, fraud prevention, moderation, dispute resolution, or enforcement;

  • applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Rules for User Content and Conduct

You must not create, upload, post, share, or otherwise use the Service for content or conduct that is:

  • unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive;

  • abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or violent;

  • sexually exploitative, obscene, or inappropriate;

  • infringing of another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;

  • harmful to minors or otherwise exploitative;

  • intended to harass, stalk, dox, blackmail, or intimidate;

  • related to spam, phishing, scams, impersonation, or coordinated manipulation;

  • designed to spread malware, malicious code, or security threats;

  • otherwise objectionable or inconsistent with the safety and purpose of the Service.

10. Reporting, Moderation, and Enforcement

We may provide tools that allow users to report content, accounts, messages, or behaviour.

We reserve the right to investigate and take action at our discretion, including by:

removing content;

  • limiting visibility;

  • warning users;

  • suspending features;

  • restricting accounts;

  • terminating accounts;

  • reporting conduct to relevant authorities where appropriate.

We are not obliged to publish or keep any content on the Service, and we may remove content that violates these Terms, our policies, applicable law, or the safety of the platform.

11. Marriage Feature

pathsNetwork may include an optional marriage profile feature.

If you use that feature, you agree that:

  • the information you provide must be truthful and respectful;

  • you will only use the feature for its intended purpose;

  • you will not harass, exploit, deceive, pressure, discriminate against, or misuse other users;

  • you understand that information submitted to the feature may be visible to other eligible users according to the feature’s privacy design.

  • We may impose additional rules, moderation standards, eligibility criteria, or restrictions for marriage-related features at any time.

12. Masjid, Community, Business, and Marketplace Features

The Service may include masjid pages, community features, prayer-related tools, business pages, service listings, trade listings, and similar features.

You are solely responsible for any content you submit through those features. You must ensure that such content is lawful, accurate, respectful, and appropriate for the feature in which it is posted.

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, truthfulness, or availability of any user-submitted listing, service, business information, community post, or trade item.

Any transactions, arrangements, meetings, services, or dealings between users or third parties are solely between those parties unless we explicitly state otherwise.

13. Premium Subscriptions

pathsNetwork may offer optional paid subscriptions or premium features.

If you subscribe:

billing may be handled by Apple, Google, or another payment provider made available through the Service;

  • subscription terms, renewal, cancellation, and refund rights may also be governed by the relevant app store or payment provider;

  • premium features may change from time to time;

  • we may suspend or remove premium access where required for security, abuse prevention, account sanctions, or legal reasons.

  • You are responsible for reviewing the applicable in-app purchase and subscription terms presented at the time of purchase.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information.

Please read the Privacy Policy carefully before using the Service.

15. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service, excluding User Content, are owned by or licensed to us. This includes, for example:

  • the app and its software

  • branding, names, logos, and design elements

  • text, graphics, layouts, and interfaces created by us

  • platform functionality and underlying systems.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or exploit any part of the Service except as allowed by law or with our prior written permission.

16. Acceptable Technical Use

You must not:

  • interfere with the operation or security of the Service;

  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;

  • use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automation in unauthorized ways;

  • overload, disrupt, or damage the Service;

  • test vulnerabilities or probe systems without express permission.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, if:

you violate these Terms or our policies;

  • we believe your use creates risk for other users, third parties, or the platform;

  • we are required to do so by law;

  • your account is inactive, fraudulent, abusive, or compromised;

  • we choose to discontinue part or all of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.

18. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that:

the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;

  • the Service will meet every expectation or requirement;

  • user content will always be accurate, safe, lawful, or reliable;

  • connections, matches, messages, invites, listings, or community interactions will lead to any particular outcome.

  • We are not responsible for the conduct of users or third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed:

  • the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or

  • £100, whichever is greater,

  • unless applicable law requires otherwise.

  • This section does not limit liability where such limitation is not permitted by law.

20. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sultopia Design Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

  • your use of the Service

    • your User Content

    • your violation of these Terms

    • your violation of any law or third-party rights.

21. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, access models, or premium offerings.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the date above, posting a notice in the app, or using other appropriate communication methods.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Term

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law in your country of residence applies otherwise.

23. Disputes

If you have a dispute or complaint, please contact us first at help@thepathsnetwork.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

24. Severability

If any part of these Terms is held unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service.
