Effective Date: 19/04/2026
Last Updated: 19/04/2026

pathsNetwork is an invite-only community platform built to help people connect, communicate, and engage in a respectful, safe, and trustworthy environment. These Community Guidelines / User Policy explain what is allowed on pathsNetwork, what is not allowed, and what action we may take if users break the rules.

These Guidelines apply to all use of pathsNetwork, including profiles, posts, comments, messages, marriage profiles, masjid pages, business pages, trade listings, service requests, community tools, invites, and any other feature made available through the platform.

By using pathsNetwork, you agree to follow these Guidelines along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Our Community Standard

pathsNetwork is intended to be a respectful, community-focused platform. Users must behave honestly, lawfully, and respectfully toward others.

You may use the platform to connect, communicate, share appropriate content, participate in community features, and use invite-only access in good faith.

You must not use the platform to harm, exploit, deceive, threaten, harass, or manipulate others.

2. Be Respectful

Treat other users with dignity and respect.

You must not:

  • bully, harass, insult, humiliate, or intimidate others

  • repeatedly contact someone who does not want contact

  • use hateful, degrading, abusive, or threatening language

  • target people on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics

  • encourage pile-ons, mob harassment, or public shaming

Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.

3. No Hate, Extremism, or Incitement

You may not post, share, support, glorify, or promote:

  • hate speech

  • extremist ideology

  • terrorist content

  • incitement to violence

  • content encouraging harm against individuals or groups

Any content or behaviour that promotes serious harm or hatred may lead to immediate enforcement action.

4. No Sexual Exploitation, Predatory Conduct, or Inappropriate Sexual Content

You must not use pathsNetwork for:

  • sexually explicit or pornographic content

  • sexual exploitation

  • sexual coercion

  • predatory behaviour

  • non-consensual sexual content

  • sexually harassing messages or unwanted sexual advances

  • content intended primarily for sexual gratification

This is especially important for community, marriage, and messaging features.

5. No Child Exploitation or Grooming

Any content or behaviour involving child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualisation of minors, or exploitation of children is strictly forbidden and may be reported to relevant authorities.

6. No Fraud, Scams, or Deception

You must not:

  • impersonate another person, business, or organisation

  • create fake identities to deceive others

  • run scams, phishing attempts, or fraudulent schemes

  • trick users into giving money, passwords, codes, or sensitive information

  • mislead users about your identity, intentions, qualifications, or affiliations

This includes misuse of invites, fake marriage intentions, fake business pages, and dishonest trade listings.

7. No Privacy Violations

Respect other people’s privacy.

You must not:

  • post or share someone else’s personal information without permission

  • reveal private messages, contact details, addresses, IDs, financial details, or other sensitive data without a lawful basis

  • dox, blackmail, or threaten to expose private information

  • collect personal data from other users for unauthorised purposes

Users should only share information they are comfortable sharing within the platform’s intended features.

8. Honest Profiles Only

Your profile must be truthful and must not mislead others.

You must not:

  • pretend to be someone else

  • use another person’s photo without permission

  • create fake trust signals or false claims

  • lie about your identity in a way that harms or deceives users

Because pathsNetwork includes connection-based trust and invite-based access, honesty in profiles is especially important.

9. Connection-Based Access Must Be Respected

Some features on pathsNetwork are intentionally limited until users connect with each other.

You must not try to bypass these protections, including by:

  • attempting to access profile photos or content that should only be visible after connection

  • messaging people through workarounds when direct messaging is not available

  • using technical exploits or deceptive tactics to get access to restricted user content

These safeguards exist to support privacy and safer interactions.

10. Messaging Rules

If messaging is available to you, use it responsibly.

You must not use messages to:

  • harass, threaten, abuse, or pressure others

  • spam users

  • send sexually inappropriate or explicit material

  • manipulate, groom, or exploit users

  • request sensitive personal or financial information improperly

  • share malware, malicious links, or harmful files

If another user does not want to continue a conversation, you must respect that.

11. Marriage Feature Rules

If you use a marriage profile or marriage-related feature, you must do so honestly, respectfully, and for its intended purpose.

You must not:

  • use the feature to harass, pressure, or exploit others

  • misrepresent your identity, age, intentions, or circumstances

  • collect private user information outside the intended use of the feature

  • use the feature for casual abuse, trolling, humiliation, or targeting vulnerable users

  • post sexual, exploitative, or inappropriate material

We may apply stricter moderation, review, or visibility controls to marriage-related features because they involve more sensitive personal and community trust considerations.

12. Masjid, Community, and Business Feature Rules

Masjid pages, company pages, service listings, and community tools must be used responsibly.

You must not:

  • post false information about a masjid, company, or service

  • misuse religious, community, or institutional trust

  • pretend to represent an organisation without authority

  • upload offensive, deceptive, or unlawful content into community-facing sections

  • use community features to spread abuse, sectarian hatred, or harmful misinformation

Community-focused features should support benefit, not conflict or manipulation.

If you use trade or marketplace features, you must:

  • describe items honestly

  • use real images where appropriate

  • avoid misleading claims

  • avoid scams or fake listings

  • avoid posting unlawful, dangerous, counterfeit, or prohibited goods
